Questions to be considered at this workshop include: What kinds of sources exist in the Nordic countries? What is the value of Nordic sources to American Indigenous history and culture? What would be needed to find, gather, and use these sources?

10.00     Presentations by Gwen Westerman, Glenn Wasicuna and Mikal Eckstrom: Native American and Settler interactions and the meaning of sources to contemporary tribal histories. (Coffee break at 10.45)

11.00-12.30        Guided tour of the North American exhibition

13.30-14.30        Visit to the Museum archive

14.30-15.30        Discussion on collaborative research on collections of sources
