Upcoming: Conversations With….
The SUN research team recently met in Stockholm and Uppsala, Sweden, to take part in a workshop and biennial conference (you can follow our experiences over in our gallery!); and during this time, we were able to take part in an important discussion regarding the importance of ongoing conversations and friendships between our diverse communities.
We’d very much like to create a space here in which we can share our own experiences as researchers, artists, historians, teachers, and more simply — as human beings who are passionate about preserving and continuing important conversations regarding Indigenous history, tradition, and survivance.
It’s also important to us that we hear from you: readers, colleagues, and human beings who might like to share their own experiences with us! This space will be reserved for our guest bloggers: members of the SUN team, our colleagues, and readers like yourselves. "Conversations With…” will serve as our periodic guest blog post page, in which contributors speak about a topic that is important to them and share valuable insights with us.
If you have experience in the field of Indigenous history, education, survivance, archives, or are working or living within Indigenous communities, we’d be so grateful to hear from you. Guest posts of at least 1000 words are very welcome!
Please send a message through our contact form, or to the SUN project email (survivingtheunthinkableproject@gmail.com) if you’re interested in contributing! We look forward to keeping conversations open, sharing experiences, and creating new friendships.
